Iran’s ‘The Boat No. 5’ to head to Denmark

Iran’s ‘The Boat No. 5’ is to attend the Tulipoff Int’l Film Festival in Denmark.

Iranian short title ‘The Boat No. 5’ has been named as an official selection for the 2020 edition of the Tulipoff International Film Festival (TIFF) in Denmark.

‘The Boat No. 5’ will be screened at the TIFF’s “Climate Change” category.

The film is made by Reyhaneh Kavosh, a 36-year-old TV and film director, who has taken part at various festivals and managed to grab several awards such as the Best Director award at the 25th International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Iran.

Earlier reports said Iranian short films ‘Command’, ‘Dreams in the Depths’, ‘Malakout’ and ‘The Blue Room’ will also participate at the TIFF as part of the “Communicate Through Picture” category.

The TIFF aims “to display movies that are in two main categories, one about climate change, and the other one silent movies from all filmmakers around the world”, the event’s website reads.

The 2020 edition of the festival will take place in Copenhagen on September 19-20.
